Docsurplace is a team of in-house medical professionals providing on-demand healthcare services directly at patients' homes. They needed a professional, high-performing website to establish their digital presence, attract new patients through search engines, and provide a credible first impression to prospective clients.
I worked closely with the doctors to design and build a modern, SEO-optimized website from scratch — delivering the project in under 4 weeks from initial brief to production deployment.
Docsurplace had no online presence. Patients could only find them through word-of-mouth referrals, which limited their growth. The team faced several specific challenges:
The goal was to build a website that would rank for relevant healthcare keywords, clearly communicate their services, and convert visitors into patient inquiries — all while maintaining the trust and professionalism expected in the medical field.
I chose Next.js with React for the frontend, prioritizing server-side rendering for SEO performance. For a healthcare website where search visibility directly translates to patient acquisition, pre-rendered HTML was essential for Google to properly index service pages.
The technical stack included:
I built a mobile-first design system, recognizing that the majority of healthcare searches happen on mobile devices. Every page was designed to load fast on 3G connections and display properly on screens as small as 320px wide.
SEO was the primary growth lever for this project. I implemented a comprehensive on-page SEO strategy tailored to healthcare search patterns:
I served as the sole Full-Stack Developer and SEO Consultant on this project, handling everything from initial design through deployment and ongoing optimization.
My contributions included:
One interesting challenge was balancing SEO optimization with the trust and credibility requirements of a healthcare website. Medical content needs to follow E-E-A-T guidelines (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, Trustworthiness) more strictly than most industries. I ensured every service page clearly displayed doctor credentials, qualifications, and professional affiliations — signals that both Google and patients look for.
Within the first 3 months of launching the website, Docsurplace saw significant improvements:
The website transformed Docsurplace from a word-of-mouth-only practice into a digitally discoverable healthcare service, opening a new patient acquisition channel that continues to grow organically.
This project demonstrated how a targeted web development and SEO strategy can have an immediate business impact for healthcare professionals. By combining a mobile-first Next.js build with healthcare-specific SEO practices, Docsurplace went from invisible online to ranking for the queries their potential patients are actively searching.
The project also highlighted the importance of E-E-A-T compliance in healthcare content — building trust signals into the design and content is not optional in this industry, it's a prerequisite for both search rankings and patient confidence.

"Our new website has completely transformed how patients find and contact us. The SEO improvements helped us rank higher, and now we receive more appointment requests than ever."
